Tyler’s Miracle

29097738_15235845710_r.jpeg29097738_15235845940_r.jpegMarch 19, 2018 is a day my family and I will never forget.  A day filled with extreme fear and worry.  A fear that is indescribable.  We feared that we would lose someone who we love so much and couldn’t imagine living without.  That special someone is my little brother, Tyler.  Tyler is so many things to so many different people.  He is a son, a brother, an uncle, a husband, a father, a son-in-law, a cousin, a friend, and especially a hard worker.  But most importantly he is and always has been a fighter.

On March 19th Tyler lost his footing and cart-wheeled off a reach lift and fell 18 feet landing on concrete.  He had to be intubated on the scene due to both lungs being collapsed.  Tyler sustained a cervical fracture in his neck, fractured his right scapula, has several facial and skull fractures and suffered a couple of small brain bleeds.  He was flown from Williston to Minot and had to be on a respirator the first week and kept sedated.  Tyler spent 2 weeks in the hospital in Minot before being flown back home to the hospital in Idaho.  He is now home with his family recovering and will make a full recovery which is a miracle!  He has to wear a cervical collar for up to 8-12 weeks and it is uncertain when he will be able to return to work at this point.

If you know Tyler, then you know how hard he works to provide for his wife, Tara, and their two boys.  He is really struggling with not knowing when he can return to work.  We all want him to be able to heal and make a full recovery and that will take time.  I have created this gofundme account for him so he doesn’t have to worry about some of his expenses and instead can concentrate on healing so he can return to work.  If you can, please donate to my brother, Tyler and his family.  We have witnessed many miracles already with Tyler’s life being spared.  By donating, sharing this, and helping me spread the word would be another miracle.
