Hi,
My names Tyler and i am a 16 year old proud transgender man. I have been going through my transition for about 2 years now and I’m currently waiting to be referred to a gender clinic. i’m not on hormones yet so i struggle most days and it really does get me down. I’m starting this fund raiser so i can go privately instead of waiting on the NHS waiting list as i know that will just get me down even more, most waiting lists are up to 2 years and i don’t think i can cope with waiting that long.
About October time last year (2019) i had no other choice but to leave everything i owner at a place a once called home as i was no longer accepted. I was called a failure, that i’ll never be successful, i’m disgusting, that’s transitioning is wrong etc. I’ve had no contact since and i had to start all over again, i was at the point of being homeless and technically i was as i was living in an over crowded house with no money, no clothes, no family and most nights i’d think about giving up....
That was until i found my dad and my sister. i still struggle with feeling like that most days but with what happened to me i’ve come back as a stronger person but i just need that extra something to look forward to which is why i’m doing this.
