Taylors Facebook post: Friday night is when I got the phone call you were headed to Hospital. My heart almost stopped. After an unfortunate dirt bike accident, poor T Bone suffered from a fractured tibia and fractured wrist. After no luck from that Hospital, we went straight to another nearest hospital for a second opinion and I thank God every second that we did. They were able to provide us with the care that he needed and sent us straight to a indy Hospital. Tyler’s swelling was so severe they weren’t able to do surgery to correct that fracture just yet. They were able to treat him with external fixation to stabilize the bone and soft tissues until his swelling goes down to have his next surgery. The surgical team said if we would have taken him home and waited, that we were instructed to do in the first place, he could have lost his leg. I’m so glad we listened to our gut and took him elsewhere! God is so good to us and the team at the other two hospital has been amazing to us! We have a long road to recovery ahead of us, but I wouldn’t want to go through these battles with anyone else in this world! Tyler would love to hear some words of encouragement to keep fighting!! Please reach out and let him know he is loved and we are T BONE STRONG
Tyler was working overtime to help Taylor finish school, now that this unfortunate event happen Taylor is working around the clock to provide care for Tyler but also going to school full time. As you can imagine trying to pay rent along with paying for Tylers expenses that insurance doesn't pay can be tough and stressful. Our goal as fellow nursing school peers is to Raise $2,000 in 30 days to provide relief to Taylor and Tyler. Anything will help, Thank you advance!
