Tye’s breast argumentation surgery

Ever since I was young I knew I was different, my gender made no sense to me . Once I started to grow up I would search for outlets on why I felt the way I felt . Why did I feel like a woman but when I looked in the mirror I saw a man staring back at me ? I remember screaming the lyrics to “when I grow up” by the pussy cat dolls and They would say how when they grew up they wanted to have boobies hilarious I know but those lyrics meant more to me than what I think meant to them. I meant what I would sing in the back of my moms car as she looked at me and smiled . My self confidence became invisible I would lash out at people simply because I was so unhappy with myself And my body I remember saying I hate my chest I hate my face I hate my legs and , I soon realized the woman I always felt like was there was there for a reason she was valid she was different and her body looked different as well and that was okay . I have been so blessed in so many ways to have the resources the family and friends I have had to help me on my journey. Being a trans woman of color its hard being told I’m not normal or I’m not pretty enough to ever be a woman and that’s something I have to deal with something  WE all have to deal with as apart of this community on the daily . I live in a small town outside of Savannah Georgia I will never forget the day I was told that trans Women of color have a 35 year life expectancy. What does that mean? That means that people want trans women like myself dead they kill us because some people just can’t stand the truth they don’t want to educate themselves they rather be ignorant and look down upon us. I refuse to have an expiration date on my life I refuse to be a part of a cystic . I have been unable to find employment anywhere in a 45 mile radius of my home due to the soul fact of me being A transgender Woman. I’m asking  you to help me , I’m asking you to help me feel better about myself and the way I carry myself . To be able to get this surgery would mean the world to me and I’d be able to thank all of those who donate for it sending love to you all -Tye
