It is with a heavy heart that we have come to terms with the unexpected loss of our beloved Tyrone.
In our lives, we wake up every morning to go about our day, never realizing that life as we know it can change in an instant. This was the case for us on a late September day, where my father Tyrone, hugged my son goodbye as he walked out the house to go about his day, only to not return again.
As many of you know, my father, Tyrone passed away unexpectedly on October 4, 2018. A loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend he had a zest for life and excitement. He loved to be around people, and people loved him. His witty sense of humor was the life of any party. He was a kind and giving person who lived his life to the fullest.
My dad was many things, a former marine, who served his country proudly. A talented artist, who would leave you in awe of his creativity. An adventurer, who would often be found camping, fishing and enjoying the outdoors with those he loved. Aside from all of this, he was a friend to all, lending words of wisdom, encouragement or a helping hand when needed.
He left us unexpectedly and as such, with no plans for his passing. We are setting up this Go Fund Me to raise funds to be able to lay him to rest and give him the proper sendoff he deserves.
Ronald Reagan once said, “Some people wonder all their lives if they’ve made a difference. The Marines don’t have that problem.” While he has left a void that can never be filled, I am comforted by the fact that I know he made a difference in the lives of those he met while still alive.
