Many of you know our dear friends Ty and Heather Seamons and a little bit about the fiery trial they are in. They are completely overwhelmed with all they are facing and need our love and support now more than ever. My family and I have been in this place of despair and desperation many times. I know first hand just how hard it is to let others into your pain and struggle; and how much harder it is to ask for help. So after talking and praying with Ty and Heather, and seeking God and His perfect will- I felt compelled to start a Go fund me to try an ease the burden just a little bit. Right now both Ty and Heather are experiencing pain beyond belief and are in desperate need of Gods miraculous healing touch and provision. Heather has been battling excruciating and debilitating pain in her face caused by a condition called Trigeminal neuralgia after having her wisdom teeth removed roughly 20 years ago. This condition is very rare and extremely difficult to treat. There are so many unknowns and many factors that go into pinpointing exactly what the culprit is and why it is causing so much pain. It is said this condition is one of the worst pains one can experience and even has the nickname “suicide disease” because the pain associated with it is absolutely unbearable. In October, 2020, Heather’s Neuralgia became so excruciating she was desperate for answers. She made several Doctors appointments with different specialists to see if they could find exactly what was going on. First thing she found out was that she had an infection in her nasal cavity and that it is ingrained in her facial structure and will require surgery to scrape out the infection; she has been on 4 rounds of antibiotics and nothing is touching it. She also found out that her molars are growing and pushing into her nasal cavity which is causing the Neuralgia pain to be that much worse. Both these findings will require surgery. Roughly two weeks ago after Heather got home from one of the Doctors visits, she passed out and started experiencing major neurological deficit’s. She started having Uncontrollable spasms in her legs, numbness and paralysis in her right arm, Trouble walking and trouble with memory. She has now been using a Walker/cane to get around. She went to her General practioner to have some tests done and now they are wanting Heather’s to go in to have an MRI of her brain to see exactly what it is that is causing all these other new symptoms.... Over the last 3 weeks Heather has been under the care and guidance of the following doctors: ENT, Endodontist, Pain Management, Dentist, Periodontist, General Practioner.






Even today she has to go in to fix an abscess on her tooth and a failed root canal to try to help with the pain/infection she is facing... the only problem is... Ty who is also overcoming his own hurdles medically was laid off of work Friday January 29th and now they have no insurance.... Heather has also been treated with a variety of medications to combat these ailments that are now running low and by Thursday Feb 11th will be completely out... we cannot allow this. It could be very detrimental to Heather’s health and condition if she cannot get her medications. Ty has also been dealing with tremendous amounts of pain in his back over the last several years with pain on his right side that radiates down into his right leg. The pain he was dealing with was tremendous and could no longer withstand the pain. Therefore, on November 17th, he had back surgery to fuse his L3-L4 thinking Heather was on the mend and could help take over everything while he recovered. 2 weeks after he had surgery his right side of his back started aching again and the pain going down his right leg returned and is still a daily constant pain for him. He’s been back to his doctor almost weekly for answers to this same pain they thought was corrected with the surgery. He was trying to do his best to rest and take it easy, but with Heather’s infection not subsiding, her new neurological issues that flared and her not being able to drive or much less walk on her own without assistance and taking her back and forth to all her doctors appointments as well, Ty has not been able to relax much. It has been extremely difficult to deal with the daily pain He is facing, while attempting to recover, work and continue to deal with Heather’s battle and her issues. He is now roughly 3 months post-op and is still in so much pain. They are afraid the surgery didn’t take and are back at square one. Ty has a post op appointment next week. Yet, here they are with no insurance and no job. They have applied for assistance through Medicaid/Obamacare but was told it could take up to six weeks to start to receive help and any coverage. There is so much hanging in the balance and they have no time to wait around for cobra to kick in or for Ty to find a new job and benefits to kick in Ty is actively seeking employment and does have some potential prospects. But, if you know of anyone who is hiring in the Salt Lake/Saratoga Springs area please pass on the information. So please, Let’s show our love and support and come along side this amazing family in their time of need. Above all else, please be in prayer for Ty, Heather and their 3 boys Kaden 21, Andre 12 and Taevin 6. These kids desperately need their parents to be healthy and whole.
