Loki needs emergency surgery

3 months ago we took in a “temporary” foster dog which turned into a permanent member of the family quickly. This week loki got himself into some mischief and ate a cat toy which ended up causing significant damage to his colon and intestines. Loki had the first surgery to remove the cat toy but once vets opened him up they found it wasn’t as simple of a procedure as they thought. Loki’s colon died and caused a lot of life threatening damage. Loki had to get another emergency specialty surgery which is very costly especially with Christmas being days away.
