Island Relief Group was built on the foundation of helping the locals of the Bahamian Islands after seeing the heartbreaking aftermath of Hurricane Dorian.
The people of the Bahamian Islands are some of the most generous, heartwarming, and loving people on this planet. Unfortunately they have endured a catastrophic blow from a category 5 hurricane where over 80% of residents lost their homes. This is the time we need to give back to the people who have already given so much for us.
100% of funds will go directly to helping the people of the Bahamas .
We currently are working with local businesses to gain access to the islands. It will be very difficult to get into the Bahamas within the next few weeks, but we are lucky enough to have access to getting our supplies there.
We are raising money, collecting supplies, and organizing volunteers in order to help those in need. At the moment, we have multiple vessels ready to take supplies over to the Abacos and Grand Bahama Island, but we need your help to fund getting more first aid and to pay for the cost of transportation. Any amount of donation will help us get to the Bahamas to provide necessary relief to those in dire need of help.
More specifically the money donated will be going towards:
- Fueling up the vessels to take the supplies over to the Bahamas
- Paying captains to operate the large vessels
- Paying for dockage and entry fee into Bahamas
- Purchasing extra much needed emergency medical supplies
We will be providing updates to keep everyone informed of our standing.
