Please join me and let's take the power away from the bully. Since traditional bullying involves 12- 18 year old students, my goal is to start earlier and teach kids 5+ how to accept who they are and how to overcome the challenges of being bullied.
I have created a 3D animated TV Series called, Black Butterfly in a Colorful World. The animation follows the transformation of 12 year old Brian, a black butterfly, whose species was killed during a freak snowstorm leaving him alone to survive in a colorful world. Brian has black wings and he's being teased and bullied by the butterflies with the colorful wings. As Brian learns to accept his fate, he becomes a champion for the colorful butterflies and gains the courage to stand up to the biggest bully in town, Hank, the vengeful red cardinal.
Audiences can immediately relate to the idea of being different and wanting to be accepted and loved by others. In Black Butterfly in a Colorful World, Brian reveals to kids of all ages that being different isn't just okay, but is worth celebrating.
The project features celebrity voice talent and the funding will allow me to lock in my talent and create the pilot for the animated TV Series-both are needed for me to solidify distribution and get this message out to our kids. I am working with a production company in Atlanta to create 24 High Quality 3D Animated TV Episodes.
