I am writing on behalf of the Texas Woman's University - Nursing Class of 2014 (Houston Campus). Every semester, the graduating nursing class holds a traditional "Pinning Ceremony". This ceremony is a tradition that symbolizes the completion of a rigorous 2 year program, and welcomes newly graduated nurses into the prestigious nursing profession. The ceremony includes the student being pinned by either a faculty member or family member who has supported them along their academic journey. This signifies his/her final step before beginning a career in nursing. In addition to being pinned, our new nurses, faculty, and family members will be celebrating with a banquet.
This is where you can help! The ceremony and banquet is completely hosted and funded by the students; however fundraising can only go so far. We are currently working hard to raise funds for this time honored tradition, but we certainly need help. By participating as one our sponsors, you will be directly supporting our tradition. Donated funds will be put towards venue rental, pins, printing, decorations, catering, etc. All funds donated will go directly to the planning and implementation of the TWU College of Nursing Class of 2014 Pinning Ceremony. Remaining funds will be donated to the nursing class that follows us and to charity.
Incentives for businesses:
If you are a business sponsor, we will provide:
· A sponsor table at our banquet so that you may leave business cards or brochures for the guests to view (Business cards, brochures etc. provided by the business)
· 1 Facebook posts to each nursing page thanking your business and providing contact information (Reaches approximately 200-300 students)
· A 2inx2in advertisement on the sponsor's page in our ceremony program booklet (Reaches approximately 500-600 people)
· A mention after the ceremony closes
Thank you for considering this sponsorship, and if you have any further questions regarding this ceremony or the funding needed, please feel free to contact the individuals below.
