<div>FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FIFTY YEARS — THEY SLEEP.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Imagine you are 72 years old.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You came home from Vietnam in 1973. Your country thanked you
</div>
<div>with silence. Your family welcomed you with questions you
</div>
<div>couldn't answer. And every night for half a century, you've
</div>
<div>laid down in the same bed, closed your eyes, and seen the same
</div>
<div>face.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The face of the young man on the other side of the wire.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You don't know his name. You never will. But you have carried
</div>
<div>him with you every day of your life since. And somewhere — in
</div>
<div>a village outside Hanoi, in a small apartment in Da Nang, on a
</div>
<div>quiet street in Ho Chi Minh City — there is a Vietnamese man
</div>
<div>the same age as you. And he has been carrying you, too.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Neither of you can sleep.
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div>WHY WE BUILT THIS
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>No therapist can give you what you need. No chaplain. No
</div>
<div>spouse, no child, no grandchild — no matter how much they love
</div>
<div>you. Because they were not there. They did not see what you
</div>
<div>saw. They did not do what you did. They cannot offer you what
</div>
<div>only one person on earth can offer:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Forgiveness from the man who was trying to kill you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That is the truth at the heart of <a href="https://twosoldiers.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Two Soldiers</a>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are building the platform where veterans from opposing
</div>
<div>conflicts can meet — face to face, across oceans, through
</div>
<div>secure live video with AI translation in over 100 languages —
</div>
<div>to speak the four phrases that change everything:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"I'm sorry.
</div>
<div>Please forgive me.
</div>
<div>I forgive you.
</div>
<div>I love you."
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is not therapy. This is not politics. This is not a peace
</div>
<div>platform. This is healing — the kind that only the soldier on
</div>
<div>the other side of the wire can offer, because only he knows
</div>
<div>what was asked of you.
</div>
<div><br />

<div>WHAT YOUR DONATION BUILDS
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Goal: $800,000
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is testing whether the world wants
</div>
<div>TwoSoldiers.org to exist. If it does — if you and others
</div>
<div>answer this call — here is what your donation will build:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>- Secure, encrypted live video platform engineered for
</div>
<div>  veteran-to-veteran sessions
</div>
<div>- AI translation across 100+ languages, calibrated for the
</div>
<div> emotional weight of what is being said
</div>
<div>- Veteran liaison teams in the United States, Vietnam, and
</div>
<div>  other former conflict regions
</div>
<div>- Trauma-informed session moderators trained in moral injury
</div>
<div>  and combat-related grief
</div>
<div>- Legal incorporation as a nonprofit and full 501(c)(3)
</div>
<div> registration once the mission is funded and the structure
</div>
<div>  is built
</div>
<div>- A 10% contingency reserve, because building anything
</div>
<div> meaningful costs more than you plan for
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every dollar moves us closer to the moment when two old men,
</div>
<div>on opposite sides of the world, look at each other through a
</div>
<div>screen — and finally let it go.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Note: TwoSoldiers.org is not yet a registered 501(c)(3).
</div>
<div>Donations made at this stage are not tax-deductible. Once
</div>
<div>nonprofit status is granted, future donations will qualify.

<div>THE FOUNDATION
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>"Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine
</div>
<div>enemies; thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over."
</div>
<div>— Psalm 23:5
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The table is the platform. The enemies are the men we faced
</div>
<div>across the wire. The oil is the forgiveness. The cup is the
</div>
<div>peace that finally comes.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

</div>
<div>A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is [James Blackburn](<a href="https://jamesjblackburn.com/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://jamesjblackburn.com/</a>). I
</div>
<div>am not a veteran. My grandfather was — but he died before I
</div>
<div>was born, and I never got the chance to know him. The only
</div>
<div>thing my family carried forward about his service was a quiet
</div>
<div>kind of silence.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That silence is what I keep returning to.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have spent my life listening to that silence in other men —
</div>
<div>neighbors, fathers, the older guys at the diner, the man two
</div>
<div>doors down who never quite came back from what he saw. None of
</div>
<div>them ever asked for help. Most of them never even said the war
</div>
<div>out loud. They just carried something home that none of us
</div>
<div>knew how to help them set down.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><a href="https://twosoldiers.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Two Soldiers</a> is for them. And for the men they fought against — who carried the same thing home, in the same silence, to the same nightmares.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are running out of time. Every Vietnam veteran lost to age is one less man who can finally make this trip across the table. We need to build this now.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Will you help us?
</div>
<div><br />
