Two Bunnies Rescue was founded in May 2015 as a foster home based rescue in the Prince George, B.C. area providing a safe, loving environment for domestic rabbits in need. Two Bunnies also works to raise awareness of and provides education for rabbits as house pets.
One year after Two Bunnies Rescue was established we opened up our doors to allow access to most small animals and have cared for rabbits, chinchillas, mice, hamsters, guinea pigs and rats to date. Our rescue is currently providing foster homes to 23 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, 3 rats and 2 hamsters.
For the past 18 months Two Bunnies Rescue has been operating at maximum capacity. We have not been able to take in any animals with the exception of a limited number of life and death situations. We desperately need your support to help us continue our work with small animals in our area. Every dollar counts and will help us to achieve our goal.
We propose to build a 40' x 40' monitor style structure with 24 spacious single and double pens varying in size depending on need. We will also be providing much needed spaces for sanctuary animals, a small caged animal area, a quarantine area as well as a wellness room.
The land that the rescue will be built on was prepared last fall.
We are actively seeking donations both monetary and in supplies and services to accomplish this much needed project.
Some of the supplies the rescue will need include - cement, plywood, lumber, windows, doors, insulation, vapor barrier, tin roofing, indoor pen and play area materials, nails, screws, electrical, plumbing, etc.

For each $250 donation - your name or business will be engraved on a plaque that is viewable just inside the main entrance.
For each $500 donation - One of our proposed 24 pens will have a small plaque stating that you or your business sponsored this pen. Limited to 24 opportunities.
For each $2500 or more donation - you or your business name and/or logo will prominantly be displayed on our exterior sign. For example:

Please note that due to security reasons, this sign will be on the exterior of the building and not roadside. This level of donation will also allow you or your business a private tour of our facility prior to opening.
Two Bunnies Rescue will be running several fundraisers over the next few months, any money raised will come off of the total we are hoping to raise.
Any surplus funds will go towards providing veterinary care, food and other necessities for the animals in care.
These two gorgeous dutch rabbits are Peanut and Oreo and are currently in the care of the rescue.
