On Friday the 30th of April, just four days after celebrating her 3rd Birthday while out playing in her back garden our beautiful Katie's whole life changed in a split second when she suffered a horrific machinery accident causing life changing injuries.
The following days resulted in numerous major surgeries including left foot amputation. Although this has been the most devastating blow imaginable not only to Katie but to her adoring parents & her best friends, her two sisters Hannah & Emily, Katie's journey is only starting!
Katie is going to need continuous surgeries, rehabilitation, care and constant adaptation of her prosthetic because of her young age.
The overwhelming costs of care, prosthetics and home adjustments to make her home suitable for her needs have left her family with a massive financial obstacle. This is where we need your help - The smallest amounts add up and will help "Two Steps For Katie" become a reality!!

Katie is the most beautiful girl who lights up a room with her presence. She is funny, kind, loving and a credit to her parents and two big sisters. Katie is the happiest little girl whose smile is infectious with a cheeky glint in her eye that makes us adore her even more! Her hearty laugh is infectious and not to mention the way she belts out a song at the drop of a hat! This horrendous accident is a setback for our little hero and despite all she has gone through in recent weeks she has been a tower of strength. She is an inspiration but we need your help to give Katie the brightest future because right now this lady deserves all the help in the world!
Besides the medical aspects of her care, Katie's home needs adjusting and we want to help her parents by setting up this page and getting the work done without causing any upset or stress to her family. This is not what anyone asked for but unfortunately life has changed dramatically in a split second. Please help in any way you can and understandably if you can't give at all please just say a prayer & light a candle for our beautiful princess!
