The Incredibles - Michael and Jacob
Donation protected
Late November two baby souls Michael and Jacob arrived on this world earlier than expected to the awaiting, loving arms of their amazing parents Carly and Taylor. Starting your life’s journey as an identical micro-premi comes with countless hurdles to overcome, and medical care to be had.
As time went on the boys unfortunately had to be separated miles away to assure that they both received the very best care for their individual needs, adding the additional stress of travel to an already unbearable situation for their parents and family. The care and comfort both parents and babies have received at both Seattle-area hospitals has been overwhelmingly awesome, and to that they are eternally grateful. Recently Michael departed this earth to watch over his brother and parents from afar, their guardian angel as they navigate their journey as a family.
Never in my life has it ever crossed my mind to set up a Go Fund Me, I guess up until now stories of trials that I’ve heard never felt as real and as heart wrenching as thinking of two first-time parents staring straight in the face the hardest point in their lives. Seeing Carly and Taylor stand by their sons and each other with complete grace during this time is magnificent, and empowering.
Like the old adage states “it takes a village”. I am putting this message out into the world in hopes that, in the midst of this crazy holiday season as we gather with our families to celebrate another year older, we can think of these two sweet souls and their remarkable parents.
