Two blokes, two days, two marathons per day

So, we made it! With just over 174,000 steps taken over two days, Friday 8 March and Saturday 9 March, Ben and I arrived in Moruya.

Ben about an hour before me! He made the whole thing look like a walk in the park. Me on the other hand made the whole thing look like a fire walk on broken glass that lasted for in excess of 150km!!

People have asked me to describe the event. I have two words. Brutal and beautiful. My body was smashed and Panadeine forte had to be used (quite a bit), but my mind proved to be strong and the scenery and company were first class.

Dad was the most amazing support vehicle driver and inspiration for the duration of the run. I can never thank him sufficiently for what he did for me (and Ben.)

Thank you and everyone reading this for your amazing support in the lead up, during and since the run. I'm about to close the Go Fund Me page so if any of you were thinking of a last minute donation (NO OBLIGATION), now is your chance.

You can do so much more than you body thinks it can. Set bold audacious crazy goals, put a system in place, seek support and create accountability for your actions and you too can achieve your dreams. But simply wishing, wanting, hoping, praying and thinking will not get you there. Action is where the action is at!

Cheers all.

I hope I have inspired some of you to reach for your goals. To stretch yourselves out of your comfort zone and to be who you aspire to be.

I am a 50 year old teacher and health coach for teachers. We've all seen the press of late. Teachers are stressed out, freaked out and getting out. Who has a teacher to thank? Who wants the best for your children? Who wants teachers to be at their best when teaching and caring for your kids? Teachers take care of your children. They care, nurture, support, lose sleep over, and are responsible for your children. Sounds easy? Do you lose it when parenting your own kids? Try working with 20+! Try dealing with reporting, assessing, programming, parent interviews, challenging behaviours (of kids, other staff and parents), day in, day out. Teachers do this because they are amazing!
But all too often it takes its toll. Teachers need support too. That is what I provide as a certified health coach and teacher.

Help me to help teachers to help themselves and to take care of themselves. Every donation will help me in my business reach more teachers and to develop the online presence I need to offer wide reaching programs aimed at helping your children's teacher/s be the very best version of themselves that they can be. I'm running from Canberra to the Moruya on the South Coast to raise funds for and awareness of teachers everywhere who need support.

85km a day, for 2 days in a row. I'm doing this to prove that I'm prepared to do what it takes to inspire teachers everywhere to believe in themselves and to help teachers sustain their passion and love of their chosen career, to be there when it counts for your kids. I am just one person who is dedicating my life to supporting as many teachers as I can. With your help, I can develop online tools, employ staff to support me so that together we can provide the system, support and accountability required for teachers to reduce their stress and sustain their high standards for your children and mine.

Thank you.
