Hello everyone!
With 2020, our plans changed many times on how to release this record. We always tend to operate under a DIY mindset with writing, recording, and releasing all our music ourselves however, this year has brought up mainly obstacles for ourselves and our label. We decided to open the door to our friends and the music community to help get this record pressed. Working with our label, Midnight Werewolf, a gofundme would allow the full benefit of funding the record beforehand, taking pre-orders (without additional costs), and allowing everyone a chance to take part in the release. Even if we don't fully raise the amount intended, we'll raise a portion to do so, and this will be greatly appreciated.
Any donation of $25 or over will receive an LP shipped to them (no extra shipping fees). A full list of donation prizes can be found below! Along the campaign we will also be digitally releasing the record for everyone to hear. (**please include your address when donating in the message field if the donation is over $20)
A little background on this record, we recorded it between 2017-2019 at our own studio. Between drummers at the time, Jared played everything except bass which was supplied by long time member Andrew Fortin. Trevor White, a long-time collaborator also added guitar on some songs as well. Pushing through and finishing this record became a necessary undertaking to keep the band alive. At some point, it was too late to turn back with the new songs we had, so we pressed on... In turn, this whole record is about a time of uncertainty. In the band.. and releasing it now during a time where the world was just as uncertain. It’s a record made up of all these different special moments and sessions throughout the band. Collectively tied together I think it tells a new kind of story. Very different from our other recordings that were done at the same time as a 3 piece. In a way, this record is very 2020.
