Stop the pain! Twila's Surgery

Early in 2017 Twila started having problems while sleeping.  She would wake up multiple times through the night, throwing up bile.  While she was sleeping I would listen to her breathing and it sounded like she was breathing through bile.

We've had to go to the ER, and to the doctor multiple times and they were unable to determine what was going on.  After finally having an endoscopy the specialist found that her gastric band had moved up and bile was building up into her esophagus and throat because of it, the endoscopy found a lot of scaling building up in her esophagus and we were told there's also a chance of it causing esophageal cancer.  She's on, and has had, multiple medications for it and nothing is helping.  Prescription and over the counter medications sometimes seem to work for a day or two but then it goes back to the same thing as before, if note worse.

We consulted another specialist and have a plan of action but found that even with insurance we will have to have a total of 8k just for the surgen to perform the revision surgery to remove the band and perform the mini gastric bypass.  We were also told that the operating room bill could be up to 4k depending on the hospital and that's not counting additional fees for anesthesia and other charges.

We are doing all we can to try to save for this.  She is working 2 jobs and I am trying to do what I can to make extra money.
