Twenty for a Tent!

Last year, the UVA Men's Crew Team has celebrated it's 50th Anniversary.  At this point, their tent seems just be about that old.  In actuality, the tent is at least 10 years old and has seen better days.  There are holes in the ceiling, the sides no longer zip and the frame is literally being held together with duct tape and a prayer.  In fact, we had to hold up the ceiling with oars at Dad Vail last year!   It is especially problematic giving the number of cell phones and computers that need protection from wet weather.   For one person to replace it would be cost prohibitive.  Coach Frank would love to help but resources are limited.  But, if each rower -- both current and alumni -- gave a minimum of $20 we would well be on our way to replacing this sad, old tent!  If you have ever taken refuge under a tent for food or shelter, please consider giving $20 or more to help replace our tent and give rowers a safe. comfortable place to prepare for a winning row!   Any funds raised in excess will be used to replace other UVA crew equipement.   Thank you and UVA ROW!!  Go HOOS!
