Mom passed away October 28th, 2022
Mom is dying and unfortunately I have a front row seat. (Have you ever had to watch someone die?)
She is on oxygen 24/7, Hospital bed is in the living room along with that mobile toilet. I've had to do things that I never thought I would, it boggles the mind.
I help my mother from the time I wake up until I go to sleep, which is hardly ever, she keeps weird hours. I try to find humor in most situations because it's either that or just give up, unfortunately I don't have the luxury of giving up because I have one human and five dachshunds, who are counting on me... Bonnie, Voltraine, Mouse, Grubber, Meatball and DeDongo.
This is probably the worst thing I have ever been through. My mom and I aren't even close, I've wanted to runaway on several occasions, but I am a badass, just a bit short of cash atm. My short term disability just ended as did my health insurance and find myself having a mortgage, lot rent, electric, water, food... It's been awhile since I have had this much responsibility and would be grateful for some (let's be honest, I need a lot of) assistance.
Thank you to all my friends that have already assisted me, y'all are freaking awesome.
My Aunt Sister is a nun (over 50 years), and she tells me I'm definitely going to Heaven because that's where Angels go. Who would have thunk that I would ever be called an Angel ?
