Help for my father

As hard and humbling as this is, we do not always have a choice when we fight for our loved ones as they face the biggest challenge of their lives. A cancer diagnosis can not only be emotionally draining but financially as well.  Today I have to ask for your help for my dad, Joe.  He is bravely battling Stage IV lung and mouth cancer, and sepsis.  He never complains, and never asks for help.  Over the last several months we have been back and forth several times per week to MCV for radiation, chemo therapy, and numerous other trips to the emergency room.  Unfortunately I lost my job for needing to take off time to take my dad for his appointments.  Cancer is hard enough, and people should not have to choose between electricity, heating oil, and medical care, but this is the reality for many of us.  As a caregiver and a daughter, I continue to give all that I can in time and resources, but your help would allow my dad to focus solely on his battle with cancer without the added stress of choosing between care and basic necessities.  As a man that has worked his whole life, and always been there to help anyone, this diagnosis has not only cost him just his wages, but also most of his independence.  We receive many calls and messages asking how can people can help, and at this time, any financial help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you all for your help, encouragement and continued prayers.
