The Tutu Maker prides itself on being a female fronted film. The primary roles; writer, director, producer, as well as lead and supporting actress, are all occupied by passionate and inspiring women. Women focused on forging a path in the male-dominant and competitive film industry.

Not only do women occupy our primary roles, but The Tutu Maker also explores intricate relationships between women. Focusing on how maternal mentorship can create an opportunity unity to thrive, in a natural and empowering way. Our crew are certain The Tutu Maker will be a game changer in the Australian up-and-coming short film scene, and will continue the push for female driven narratives to be seen and head around the world. 

The Tutu Maker also places an important spotlight on family violence in a bare and visceral way. Laying bare the agony warring siblings can have on each other's mental psyche. We pay tribute to those affected by the pain left behind. With such a truthful human connection embedded in the film, we believe it will attract a wide and diverse audience and will have a potential for festival or commercial success in the future.
The crew involved in the film are incredibly passionate and skilled in their craft to ensure The Tutu Maker gets the attention to detail it deserves.
