James Edwards' Turtle Power Fund

Donation protected

On Friday, May 30th, 2014 James Edwards experienced a near drowning accident. He was quickly rescued from the pool and given CPR until the arrival of paramedics. Initially, James was cared for at the Chris Evert Children’s Hospital by an outstanding medical team until he was released on July 22nd, 2014.  On his birthday, James headed home and was cared for by his loving parents along with a team of dedicated therapists.  James then spent three weeks at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.  At KKI, James made great improvements, but unfortunately was discharged.  The entire Edwards' Family made it home to South Florida, in time for Halloween.  Once again, James is being cared for by his parents and dedicated team of therapists in his Cowabungalo!

The outpour of love and prayers received by James and his family cannot be put into words. For those who wish to continue to show support, this page has been created to help the Edwards' family.

You can follow James’ ninja updates on the Facebook page “Turtle Power for James Edwards”. The continued prayers, positive thoughts, and donations are truly appreciated! #turtlepowerforjamesedwards
