In 2018, Zawaya’s Notes from Home concert raised over $22,000 to bring music education to children in Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. Those funds helped hire teachers and purchase instruments for about 120 young students.
Today, three of those students — Mohamed, Abed Al Mejeed, and Ahmed — have formed a saxophone trio called Triomantic.
“We started Triomantic to escape the roughness of our lives and to show that a Palestinian refugee has talent, dreams, and hope. Even with limited resources, we believe music is freedom — and we must be free to play our own.”
Watch Triomantic perform “Asfour Tal Minel Shibbak” here .
Now performing publicly outside the camps, they still rely on borrowed instruments from the camps. They’re aiming to raise $2,000 to purchase their own saxophones — a simple but life-changing step toward musical independence and sustainability.
All funds raised will go directly toward the purchase of Triomantic’s instruments. Full transparency and documentation (including receipts) will be required before transfer.
Your support helps turn borrowed instruments into voices of hope — and keeps the legacy of Notes from Home alive for a new generation of musicians.
Thank you for believing in the power of music to create freedom, dignity, and connection and to transform lives.
