Turning Pain Into Purpose For My 35th Birthday!

Hey everyone! As some of you know, right after I turned 30, I had a horrible carbon monoxide accident that cost me my health. Since my case was so unique, my healing journey has been full of new discoveries, causing me to learn a lot about our organs’ functions and how organs affect one another for better or worse. I became fascinated with ways to partner with my doctors through nutrition, learning that our diet alone can provide so much strength to the process!
Fast forward to this present season, within the whirlwind of quarantine, I managed to lockdown an “essential job” working at an integrative pharmacy. Without realizing what I was stepping into, this put me in a position where I’ve been able to help people find the right tools for their unique health journeys using what I’ve learned from my own healing journey.
And you know what? I absolutely LOVE it!
So much so, that it has inspired me to become a CERTIFIED NUTRITION PRACTITIONER!
As “suddenly“ as this decision seems, I acknowledge that it’s actually been a long journey leading me here.
I’ll officially start school January 25th and be certified through Functional Nutrition Allience by September! This is extremely significant for me as I’ll be starting the day RIGHT AFTER my 35th birthday marking almost 5 years since my accident. I can’t think of a better way to celebrate my life!
By the grace of God, I’ve been able to pay off all debt I had due to my crazy health bills over the years, while still managing my current treatments, paying an average of $500 per month out of pocket.
So for my 35th birthday, I’m asking you to please join me in celebrating by partnering with me to cover the cost of tuition! :)
Although I’m still on my journey to full healing, I’m so PROUD of how far I’ve come! The only difference between an instant miracle and a journey of healing is time. In both, God is still GOOD to His Word. I believe I’ll experience the fullness of my healing and as of this year, I can finally start seeing the light at the end of this tunnel. Even though I’m not fully there YET, I’m going to keep working to multiply the wisdom I’ve gained along the way. ;)
