Turn Challenges Into Opportunities For The Young Refugee Generation.
We are a team of social workers, developers, entrepreneurs with immigrant backgrounds, and a long history of working with refugees.
Having lived the immigrant lives ourselves, we have a strong motivation to start a project that will impact the refugee community and create a long-needed change in their lives.
We understand the challenges that one can have after running away from their home country and trying to settle in a new place. We have learned from our own experience that this is tough.
Starting our research on all possible obstacles to a better life in a new country, we have interviewed many people of refugee backgrounds and collected all the helpful information we hope to use as solutions to these problems that immigrants face.
So what is this project about? What did we find, and what do we want to do?
Imagine being a young refugee; when you’ve lost everything and are trying to start over, you may have nagging feelings of insecurity, fear, sadness, and failure that will keep you stuck.
And cause you to lost your motivation for learning or having good knowledge about the new place.
It isn’t easy, we all know.
Now imagine a place where you can find all the essential information to adapt to a new culture and settle in a new country.
A place where you can learn about the education system, job market, employment opportunities, health and sports, and much more!
We aim to explain complex subjects and topics in an entertaining and engaging way through a series of online lessons and short video animations with helpful tips.
We’re sure you’ll find it both amusing and invaluable to your experience!
But that’s not all! You’ll be able to improve your Dutch, French, and English, Anytime, anywhere! With us.
Then, we will guide you in developing your plans based on the information you will have learned.
And all we ask in return, to help us grow and help more people like you, is to answer a few short questions from time to time to keep developing the project and make this platform a genuinely supportive and practical place.
