<div>This campaign helps convert Bhadrakali — a finished political / wilderness thriller already shipping as ebook and audiobook — into a high-quality AI feature film (~105–115 minutes).
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I'm Daniel Bertrand, the author and producer. The Kindle ebook is live (ASIN B0HBGYQLV7), the audiobook is produced, and the theatrical feature screenplay is locked: ~82 pages, 97 scenes, three acts. Donations go toward AI generation tool costs and the production pipeline that turns that finished IP into a movie — not toward inventing the story from scratch.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>WHY THIS MATTERS
</div>
<div>Bhadrakali was written to be seen as well as read. Book and audiobook sales help, but AI video generation, character continuity, editing, sound, and production tooling cost real money up front. This campaign accelerates that conversion with a transparent, scene-by-scene budget.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>THE PLAN (PHASE GATES)
</div>
<div>1) Trailer / pitch reel (1–3 minutes)
</div>
<div>2) Act I with locked character references
</div>
<div>3) Acts II–III only after Act I is accepted
</div>
<div>4) Assembly, polish, and deliverables
</div>
<div>5) Festival / platform / private screening path
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>THIS GOFUNDME GOAL — CA$25,000 (SEED / PROOF)
</div>
<div>Enough for a strong trailer, Act I generation, character lock, core AI tool costs, and early post. If we raise more, funds continue into Acts II–III and polish.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How the CA$25,000 seed is used (approximate):
</div>
<div>• AI generation (Act I + trailer + retry buffer): ~$8,000–$10,000
</div>
<div>• Character / location reference library (continuity lock): ~$2,000–$3,000
</div>
<div>• Editorial / sound / titles (early cut): ~$5,000–$7,000
</div>
<div>• Ads / working-capital float so production is not drained by marketing: ~$3,000–$4,000
</div>
<div>• Contingency for model price / retry overruns: ~$2,000–$3,000
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>DETAILED AI GENERATION BUDGET (97 SCENES — JUL 2026 MODEL RATES)
</div>
<div>Target runtime ~110 minutes from the locked screenplay. Costs below are API generation only (retries included). Amounts in USD ballpark.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Quality tiers:
</div>
<div>• Tier A — Rough feature gen: ~$3,300 total
</div>
<div>• Tier B — Mixed production gen (recommended mid path): ~$10,000 total
</div>
<div>• Tier C — Polished / premium gen: ~$25,000 total
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Act split (generation only):
</div>
<div>• Act 1 — 31 scenes · ~34 min · A ~$935 · B ~$2,860 · C ~$7,090
</div>
<div>• Act 2 — 39 scenes · ~46 min · A ~$1,360 · B ~$4,080 · C ~$10,040
</div>
<div>• Act 3 — 27 scenes · ~31 min · A ~$1,030 · B ~$3,030 · C ~$7,480
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Shot mix in the screenplay: 51 dialogue · 22 animal/action · 16 crowd · 8 atmosphere. Crowds and animal action need more retries (and cost more per second) than quiet dialogue.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>ALL-IN PRODUCTION ENVELOPES (GEN + POST; AI SCORE BASE CASE)
</div>
<div>• DIY rough feature: ~$14,000
</div>
<div>• Hired mixed feature (recommended mid): ~$41,000
</div>
<div>• High-quality polish (Tier C gen + strong hired post): ~$75,000–$90,000
</div>
<div>• Optional theatrical needle-drop music clearances: +$25,000–$150,000 (NOT in the base plan — we use AI-cleared / original score unless separately funded)
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Add-ons outside pure generation:
</div>
<div>• Edit / color / assembly labor: ~$8,000–$40,000 (DIY to hired)
</div>
<div>• Character/ref lock library: ~$1,000–$5,000 front-loaded
</div>
<div>• Titles / VFX polish / QC: ~$2,000–$15,000
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>PATH BEYOND THIS CAMPAIGN
</div>
<div>If support continues past the seed, the stretch ladder is:
</div>
<div>• ~$41,000 CAD/USD-class mid path → full mixed AI feature with hired post
</div>
<div>• ~$125,000 → high-quality full feature + 6 months ads float + contingency (tranche style: $25k proof → $50k Acts II–III → $50k final polish)
</div>

<div>WHAT DONATIONS ARE NOT
</div>
<div>This is not a traditional live-action studio budget, SAG principal cast, or location shoot ask. It is an AI-assisted feature built from finished IP — screenplay, ebook, and audiobook already done — so donations buy generation, craft, and pipeline.
