Last Writes - A living memorial album

A note from Shawna Carol - poet ~ composer ~ sound healer

Several years ago, I was asked to work on a memorial CD for one of my closest friends. A group of friends and family produced a beautiful CD of her unrecorded songs in her memory. I thought the only problem with the project was, she never got to hear it. Out of this experience, I got the idea of having my ohana, record my favorite unrecorded songs while I was still alive to enjoy it. Last Writes was born.
Last Writes consists of chants and uplifting inspirational songs in the tradition of “Goddess Chant” as well as never before heard songs about my intimate personal relationships and family. We have already begun work on this project and have already recorded several songs featuring the artistry of Daniel Nelson, Candace “Dacci” Freeland, David and Caban Rhodes, Maronda Rice and Jeremy Brown.

We are seeking funds to complete this beautiful project.

Shawna Carol is an internationally recognized sound healer, author, singer, composer, and recording artist.

~ a testament to Shawna's profound liturgy to the divine feminine:

Shawna Carol has created a voice and experience of the Divine Feminine that feeds us like the nectar of the Mother of All. Not a vehicle creating more separation and polarization, Goddess Chant brings us all home and unites us with our essence and our place within a loving whole. We are embraced by a love that has always been and will always be and for many; this is immensely healing and rejuvenating.   ~ Maronda Rice
