Tures Family Fundraiser

Hello, we are the Tures Family! That includes Daddy (Matthew), Mama (Callie), angel brother Jackson, and little Andrew on the way. We got married in 2012 and waited until 2017 to get pregnant with our first son, Jackson Paul. We had an amazing pregnancy, but unexpectedly experienced loss when Jackson died from a cord accident. He was stillborn on April 26, 2018, and we have been heartbroken ever since. We love him so much, he will always be the sweet-cheeked baby boy who made us parents. We took the terrifying leap to get pregnant again 11 months later and found out we would have another baby boy! His name is Andrew Paul. Once we named him, we were totally in love and excited to have a little brother for Jackson, due on 12/10/19. He passed all his tests and everything was relatively smooth and healthy, minus some expected anxiety about being pregnant after a loss. At an ultrasound follow-up at 27 weeks, our doctors found that something was wrong. Days later we were given his diagnosis of hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS), a rare congenital heart defect, with ascites and hydrops. We are in the process of meeting our medical team at UAMS and Arkansas Children’s Hospital and getting answers about Andrew’s diagnosis, prognosis, and learning about all our options for his care. Mama is on bedrest and no longer working, so we have become a single income family with lots of doctor, hospital, surgical, and CVICU bills looming ahead of us, so our greatest need at this time is financial. We are so grateful for the love and support we are receiving so far and would appreciate any amount that would be donated to help with these bills. All of the money will go towards Andrew’s care from now through, hopefully, the first year of his life.
