Linda Dellavecchia's Memorial Fund

Hi everyone,
As some of you may know, Linda Dellavecchia passed away on
April 2nd, 2019.
Her life will be honored and cherished by those who knew her, graced by her kindness, bravery, and unfathomable knowledge. Linda secretly won Jeopardy rounds countless times, Every time it was aired! Quite a remarkable thing to witness each time..
Linda’s occupation was working at Stop & Shop of Bristol for many years, with coworkers she loved and talked about often. Sadly, she had to stop working suddenly when she was diagnosed with advanced stage 4 cancer.
During this time, her visits to hospital care, applying for disability, changing health insurance plans, hospice.. and trying to collect social security, coincided with the Stop&Shop Union strike, leaving a pathway of financial confusion, letdown, and instability, during an already extremely difficult time.
Linda’s children, Eric + Nicole, have been silently undertaking the responsibility of giving financially, towards her funeral expenses.
This was not able to be fully covered, after the many medical visits and living expenses.
I know Eric + Nicole would never ask for help with this... bravely, just like their mom.
After reaching out to their limited extended family members, who have helped to the extent of their abilities, it has come to my attention that Eric + Nicole are carrying a heavy financial burden, on top of the grief of losing their Mother. Still months later.

I am creating this in hopes that we can come together and help them out any some way!
Eric and Nicole have already individually paid thousands of dollars towards the Funeral expenses, but there is still much more to go.
This would be be a huge surprise and blessing to them both.
