TUNAS KNEE SURGERY

Today we got the unfortunate news that our 3 year old puppy has torn cruciate ligaments in both knees, due to degenerate issues. The surgery (TPLO) restructures the anatomy so that the knee is sturdy without the ligaments. This surgery has a very high success rate of 95% and is approximately a 3 month recovery for the dog. (One leg is done at a time with 8 weeks inbetween surgeries). However, the cost of the surgery is approximately 3500 per leg.
