Tuition for Tom

Donation protected
When I was in 3rd grade, Dad took me to Denver, and we came home with a Kawasaki 175 and a little green mini-bike. I learned to travel on eastern Colorado dirt roads, riding my little green mini-bike from Uncle Raymond’s to Grandpa’s.  One-time, Donny Anderson got on the back, and we flipped it over on top of us. Another time, I laid the bike down on the gravel, skinning leg and arm crying my way to Grandpa’s. Splashing through mud puddles was great!

My life’s journey has had its ups and downs, scrapes and splashes. The surfaces have changed from gravel to water with the stream of ordination flowing into the stream of mariner to create river chaplaincy.

My journey toward chaplaincy is leading me into the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and on my upcoming 53rd birthday, I find myself taking required courses at Wartburg Seminary, involving significant out-of-pocket expenses for tuition and getting to Iowa and return to Louisiana. I’m grateful the last 18 years of my life’s journey have flowed back to full-time ministry, and I’d be forever grateful for any contributions toward support of my ministry in honor of my upcoming birthday and new ministry.

May God’s every blessing be with you and yours.
