Hi, my name is Ruth Martinuk and I am fundraising this GoFundMe for Alice Tucker. Alice is a wonderful woman that has suffered a cerebellum stroke and is currently in the hospital. It caused her to have cyclic vomiting syndrome, dizziness, and the symptoms make it impossible for her to stand and walk. She has vomiting so bad that she was admitted to the hospital. They tried meds to help with the vomiting and it triggered the vomiting for over a hour. She was diagnosed with cancer before this stroke and it has affected her breathing. She is now doing radiation because chemotherapy stopped working. I believe She was close to giving up and then the stroke happened! This whole situation has become devastating.

Her husband John had a heart attack not too long ago. He drives in to be with her every day and it is causing a huge financial problem. It costs $15 a day for him to park at Peter Lougheed. Since he had a heart attack, he can’t walk very far so trying to park away from the hospital is impossible for him. He is on disability, as is Alice, and $105 a week for parking alone is leaving very little for the bills.

If you have it in your heart to give just a little to help them it would be so wonderful. With a little help it will take the pressure off and allow them to try to survive this devastating medical emergency. Thank you for taking out the time to read about my wonderful friend.
