My Trip to Regionals in Tucson!!!

Friends, Family, and Generous people alike,
My name is Nick Hudlow and I am a volunteer umpire with Little League Baseball and Softball. This will be my ninth season and a special one at that.

Over the holiday season, I received one of the best Christmas gifts I could ever ask for; an invitation to volunteer as an umpire in the 2016 Little League Western Region Juniors Softball Tournament in Tucson, Arizona. I've been chomping at the bit since I could qualify (when I turned 18) to earn this amazing opportunity.  The tournament will take place between July 15th and run through July 21st. 

For my trip to Tucson, Little League is generous enough to provide me with housing for the duration of the tournament, two umpire shirts and a hat, as well as one meal a day at the field.  With that said, there are a few other key expenses that are my personal responsibility. These expenses include: airfare, new gear, transportation while in Tucson, my other two meals every day, and spending money/misc.

The quicker the funds come in the better.  This allows me time to get everything gathered and purchased well before my departure.  All proceeds exceeding my goal will be donated back to Little League Softball and Baseball.

Thanks to all (you know who you are) who pushed me to get where I am today, it would not be the same without you all.  An extra special thanks to my family for the extra support that I've needed  from you to allow me to have this great oppurtunity.  And lastly, thank you in advance to all who donate and support me this season and post-season all the way to Tucson!!!
