Tucker and Kaleigh need your help

This is where the story begins. At the beginning of August, I fulfilled a lifelong dream. I found the perfect puppy to join Murphy and me in completing our family. As you can see from the picture, he's a cutie full of love and, most importantly, bonded with Murphy instantly. It turns out that this little guy has three major heart defects. I contacted the outstanding breeder, and she jumped into action to ensure that the best care possible was given to little Tucker. He went to MSU and had surgery to help with his major heart defect. Unfortunately, the surgery was unsuccessful, and he had some complications during the procedure. He developed aspiration pneumonia and ended up staying in the hospital for 6 nights. As you can imagine, the costs quickly added up, and Kaleigh ended up with a $6,400 bill.
He went in for his procedure on August 18th and came home on August 24th. On Sunday, August 28th, I noticed that he wasn't himself. He was unable to eat or drink, had no energy and didn't want anything to do with Murphy or me. I contacted Kaleigh again, and she came to the rescue big time. She cooked him chicken and liver water, hoping that would get him interested in food since I don't even cook for myself because I don't know how to. That didn't work, so she came and picked him up around 9 pm on Sunday, August 28th, to see if she could help. She decided he was not well and took him to two different vets on Monday, August 29th. He ended up staying at Blue Pearl Emergency Clinic in Southfield, MI, in ICU as his pneumonia was wiping him out, not to mention that he had developed esophagitis from his respiration pneumonia and damage to his esophagus caused by the 3 hours of anesthesia.
As you can imagine, the bills have mounted up quickly, and she has paid for everything without question. The total to date is over $10,000, which I know is a lot, but if you met this little guy you would agree that he is worth every penny. I am asking whoever can donate to the bills Tucker has run up while fighting his way back to health to please do so. Kaleigh is a young woman who has proven her love for animals by ensuring that she has taken care of what she feels is her responsibility. I have NEVER heard of a breeder doing anything like this, and her dedication should be recognized. At 26 years old, this could affect her financially for years to come, and I would hate for her to be penalized for doing the right thing for Tucker.
Thank you in advance for reading Tucker's story and for any assistance you can provide, even if it is a prayer. We'll keep you posted on Tucker's progress.
