My sister in laws medical fund

My sister in law Shelley has had many struggles throughout her life. She has faced those challenges and came out on the winning side, including heart surgery 6 years ago. She's a gentle spirit, wanting to give what she can to help someone in need, The experiences she cherishes most are those with the  children who live in an orphanage in Mexico. When she talks about going there and helping her eyes light up and you can see her glow. She said "If I ever win a lottery I'm going there to help those amazing kids." To our children she has been an amazing Aunt. They always knew if they ran into trouble Aunty Shelley would be there. To me she has been a sister that I could laugh with, vent to and cry with. She loves being around family, extended family and friends. Her wicked sense of humor has brought  laughter to many a gathering.

In the past 6 months she has had some health issues, often not being able to work and at one point being hospitalized. It was during this time that her doctor recommended she go on permanent disability through the government once her Medical Employment Insurance finished. She was told she could work part time to subsidize her disability pension and she started to see some light at the end of the tunnel. That is until the day she got a call from her doctor asking her to come in that day. She asked if she could come the next day as she was with her family. So the appointment was set up. It was during that visit that we learned she has a "carcinoid tumor". Within 2 hours we were in the surgeon's office talking about where the tumor was located and that it had matastisized from another area. So here we were in a matter of a few hours dealing with an uncommon cancer and no idea as to what the outcome might be. Her surgery date has been set to hopefully remove the tumor and then treatment options will be looked at.

Unfortuneately this will leave her unable to get that part time job. So now she is not only dealing with a life threatening illness but also financial stress. I know everyone has their lives to lead and bills to pay and she does to. So that is why I'm asking for your help as she wouldn't think of asking. What ever you can give would be so appreciated to help ease some of the challenges she is facing.

Please say a prayer for her and thank you for your support!
