However, sometimes, we need people who, although we may never exchange a look, a hug or a friendship, can become decisive in your life and even more, they are the ones who finally allow you to continue moving forward.
I am Helen Guerra García; Teacher, Facilitator of Workshops and Human Development Courses, Writer of the Children's Book: “Tales to Shine”; with a beautiful family that loves and strengthens me every moment, and valuable friends who support me unconditionally.
A Venezuelan born in the Andes, with many dreams and ideals, who one day in April doctors diagnosed a "solid papillary carcinoma of the left breast", something absolutely unexpected in my life.
Unexpected because when one has always maintained excellent health, you never imagine you could suffer something like this; And also because getting sick at the moment in my country is what is called a “great luxury”, very difficult to afford, since the economic, social and health situation is really precarious.
For all these reasons, today I need to ask you to accompany me on this part of my journey that, although hard, difficult and exhausting, I maintain full Trust and Faith in God that it can be overcome and also that if you are reading my Soul through these lines, it is because your Soul has a connection with mine, and your Support will be Blessed and eternally Grateful!

After a month of the corresponding medical exams and reviews, Helen's diagnosis is as follows:
Left Breast: Solid papillary carcinoma, metastatic to lymph node.
Left axillary nodes: Metastasis due to papillary carcinoma positive for malignancy.
The treatment is extremely expensive and Helen does not have the resources, not even remotely.
The current situation in Venezuela, whose health crisis reaches the lowest level in its history, makes dealing with this disease many times more difficult than being in a normal situation. The harsh reality is that the chances of surviving this disease are not the best.
The treatment to be followed includes the payment of exams, diagnoses, appointments with the oncologist, chemotherapy sessions and the surgery that is obligatory later on.

Sin embargo, a veces, necesitamos de personas que, aunque quizás nunca lleguemos a intercambiar una mirada, un abrazo o una amistad, pueden llegar a convertirse en determinantes en tu vida y más aún, sean quienes finalmente permitan que puedas continuar adelante.
Yo soy Helen Guerra García; Maestra, Facilitadora de Talleres y Cursos de Desarrollo Humano, Escritora del Libro para Niños: “Cuentos para Brillar”; con una familia hermosa que me ama y fortalece a cada momento, y valiosos amigos que me apoyan incondicionalmente.
Una venezolana nacida en Los Andes, con muchos sueños e ideales, a quien un día de abril los médicos diagnostican un “carcinoma papilar solido en la mama izquierda”, algo absolutamente inesperado en mi vida.
Inesperado porque cuando siempre se ha mantenido una excelente salud, nunca imaginas puedas llegar a padecer algo así; y también porque enfermarse en este momento en mi país es lo que se llama un “gran lujo” muy difícil de costear, ya que la situación económica, social y sanitaria es realmente precaria.
Por todo ello, hoy necesito pedirte que me acompañes en esta parte de mi camino que, aunque duro, difícil y agotador, mantengo la plena Confianza y Fe en Dios de que puede superarse y también de que si tú estás leyendo mi Alma a través de estas líneas, es porque tu Alma tiene conexión con la mía, y tu Apoyo será Bendecido y eternamente Agradecido!

Luego de transcurrir un mes de los examenes y revisiones medicas correspondientes, el diagnostico de Helen es el siguiente:
Mama Izquierda: Carcinoma papilar solido, metastasico a ganglio linfatico.
Ganglios axila izquierda: Metastasis por carcinoma papilar positivo para malignidad.
El tratamiento es extramadamente costoso y Helen no cuenta con los recursos ni remotamente.
La situacion actual de Venezuela cuya crisis sanitaria alcanza el nivel mas bajo de su historia hace que lidiar con esta enfermedad sea muchas veces mas dificil que estando en una situacion normal. La cruda realidad es que la posibilidades de sobrevivir a esta enfermedad no son las mejores.
El tratamiento a seguir incluye el pago de examenes, diagnoticos, citas al oncologo, sesiones de quimioterapia y la cirugia que es obligatoria mas adelante.
