House fire(pictures are in posted update)

01/01/2024 UPDATE

After months of not having housing and going from motel to motel and being without a place to stay. I was able to finally find a place for us all to live. We need some warm things and something’s for the house that we lost. I lost everything in the house as far as household needs, furniture food and all of that. I am looking forward to paying everything forward once we get back on our feet! The previous funds have all gone to warm places to sleep, food and necessities, gas, bills, some warm clothing and basic care and needs(laundry, pets etc.)

FIRST POST 09/05/2023——- Hi, my name is Megan and on 09/04/2023 extremely early in the morning my house caught fire. The house is a loss, I was unable to to get my belongings, any clothes, any of the pictures or boxes of millions of memories of my child and our life. I lost a few of my cats that were my family and meant absolutely everything to me and were all I had left. The Red Cross gave me enough money for two nights at a hotel and a change of clothes and some dog food. I have no family or help and I am needing help with some more clothes as I only have 3 outfits, food and supplies for my dog and cats that are left as I lost everything of there’s as well and somewhere to stay until I am able to figure a permanent solution out and some food. I unfortunately did not have renters insurance so I am left with very very little. I am very grateful for anything you are able to do even if it’s $1 or $5. I am not normally one to ask for help but this is a situation that truly left me with absolutely nothing. Thank you for any and all help. I’m grateful for everything.
