Sherry’s Hospice Care

My mom, Sherry, was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer. She has been sick the better part of 2020, starting with one thing and leading to this. Unfortunately we didn’t see this coming. This cancer came on quick and ferocious. It appeared quickly, and spread even quicker. Unfortunately due to these circumstances my mom will be starting hospice care soon, and we aren’t so very prepared for this. My mom, Sherry, is a kind, thoughtful, caring, funny, weird, strong woman! As she put it to me earlier, “there’s no time stamp on my butt,” and she doesn’t plan on just giving up, but nothing is ever guaranteed. The doctors gave her a time frame of maybe 6 months. Sherry has lived her life being a radiating beam of positivity and has put smiles on many faces. She has worked hard for everything she has and being out of work for the better part of the year due to illness has put her financially in a tough place.
