Meet Hayley and Addison…
These two have become regulars at our Family Fun Days. These girls are the picture of sweetness with their adorable faces and their bubbly personalities! Watching them interact with their daddies as they bounce, dance, play, and dance some more is so much fun! This day creates an atmosphere for them that definitely brings them to life and gives them the only opportunity they have all year long to connect with their daddies. Normal visitation is not a good fit for these precious little girls, with two hours of sitting still at a table and no real way to truly interact with their dads, so without Family Fun Days the loving relationship that is being formed between these daddies and their daughters would never happen. These wonderful events allow a time of bonding and getting to know one another that is completely special and unique to those children who have a parent that is incarcerated.
It melts our hearts to see these children forming friendships at these events. The theme for this Family Fun Day was a superhero birthday party and even those these two little girls did not plan it, they both were delighted to see that they showed up in the same costume! If you could see the looks on their faces as they hugged their daddies at the end of the day, you would know that in spite of all that has gone on, these days are helping their own daddies to become the superhero in their hearts!
