Save My Boobs

My loving friends and family,

As most of you know I had breast implants put in about 4 years ago.

Since my surgery the FDA has announced a recall on all (Allergan textured implants) as they have a link with lymphoma.

Since my surgery I have also been experiencing BII (Breast Implant Illness) which has been affecting my breathing among other things. BII is associated with autoimmune and connective tissue disorders. As my surgeon explains my body wants to reject the implants.

To avoid health problems in the future and to improve or completely resolve BII symptoms I've decided to remove my implants. I've accepted my body will change and will love myself for who I am. We all have something we don't like about ourselves but that also makes us individuals and is something to embrace not change.

Unfortunately it's not a cheap or easy procedure. I'm currently getting testing as the last MRI showed lumps in my breast tissue which has already cost $2000

I'm not one to ask for help but when it comes to our health we all need the love and support of those closest to us.

Instead of birthday presents, christmas presents or any other gifts a donation towards my surgery would go a long way and mean much more!
