Final Tuition

Nearly three years ago, upon my release from incarceration, the Lord began directing my path towards becoming a pastor. When I began to attend and make CityLight Church my home, I learned about a ministry school that would be started there. Little did I know, that I would become the first student of Toledo School of Ministry and it would be where I began the process of discovering what the Lord has called me to. Along this process, what I have felt the Lord has revealed to me is that I am called to plant churches, but not just a Sunday morning service type of church.

The vision is that these church plants would be more than just Sunday morning’s services, but instead will be hubs where believers are raised up to impact our homes, our neighborhoods, and our communities with revival. The mission is to raise up leaders within our communities to engage culture in all facets of life to bring a shift to Godly living, and to holiness that can impact cities and regions for Christ.

Over the last year and a half, I have been given many incredible opportunities such as training in sound biblical teaching, and deployed in hand-on ministry through the region. I’ve completed classes on a variety of biblical subjects such as bible surveys, theology and doctrine, church leadership, and conflict resolution to prepare me in my role as a Pastor. I have been given opportunities to preach at many places across the region as well as leading a young men’s small group through my church. I’ve gotten to do in the field ministry at shelters, retirement centers, and outreach events. Through these opportunities I have learned the values that I will carry into Pastoral Ministry. From the knowledge that I have gained through my classes, as well as hands on ministry we will have a foundation that is laid upon Christ centered biblical teaching, and will build a community made up of whole, healed people who come together as a family. Focuses within the community will be one on one discipleship, coming together in each others homes through small groups, and doing events through the church as a family. Extending from those will be our focus on our communities and how we make an impact through power evangelism, and practical ministry to be bearers of hope, and the light of Christ.

As I complete the equipping season through my time at the Toledo School of Ministry and prepare to step into the field I believe the Lord has called me to, I have to have the full cost of my tuition paid for in order to graduate this summer. Would you consider a one time gift of $100 to help move me from this season into the next? Your partnership will not only help cover the tuition but start building a foundation for church plants all across our region. Your donation can be given in cash or by check to Joshua Stacey, or electronically at my Go Fund Me page https://www.gofundme.com/tsomtuition.

Thank you for your partnership. Your prayers, friendship, support and financial gifts have helped to get me to this season, and will continue to carry me forward. Blessings to you, may the Lord draw you closer and bless you abundantly with His presence.
