Transformational. Life changing. Inclusive. Athletic. Real.
If you’ve ever had a conversation with a roller derby skater or official, you’ve likely encountered these words used to describe the experience of being part of a league. Since 2010, Twin State Derby (TSD) has been the Upper Valley’s very own women’s flat track roller derby league, and has played over 40 regulation games in New England and beyond! Additionally, we were recently accepted as a member league of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), the international governing body for the sport.
Collectively, TSD league members commit over 320 hours a month to practice; we pay thousands to fund practice space rental and for gear. We do this because we believe in the power of the sport and because we believe in each other. And we could use your help!
This year, TSD's travel team, the Upper Valley Vixens, will participate in our first tournament, the Sooner Skate tournament, on May 19th - 21st, in Oklahoma City, OK. There are a variety of expenses associated with participation, and we are seeking help to offset airfare costs for the team and coaches. Any additional funds raised will go towards lodging, uniforms, and/or practice time.
See to the right for fun gifts depending on your generous donation . Please note: frisbees are while supplies last and may be substituted with comparable TSD swag!
We're looking forward to making our tournament debut as official WFTDA members, and appeciate your help and consideration.
