TSC Rallies For George

Our amazing friend & co-worker George, who has worked with The Skinny Confidential for five years, has to have open heart surgery. Our team is devastated and wants to help our sweet friend in ANY WAY we can.

George lives in the Philippines with his beautiful family, he is a father of three, & loving husband to his wife, Arlene. George LOVES to ride his bike with his son in his spare time. George is a highly talented back-end developer & has worked with The Skinny Confidential & blog-doo on hundreds of projects.

George was admitted to a hospital in the Philippines on October 16th for an enlarged heart. On October 18th he learned his conditon was life threatening & will need to undergo Heart Angiogram/Angioplasty surgery.
Since George does not live in the United States, he does not have access to the luxury of medical insurance/aid. The doctors informed George that his surgery would have to be paid out of pocket. As you can imagine, this is devastating for him & his family.

He is one of the hardest working people I have ever met, he has done the back-end for TSC since the beginning & always works with a huge smile on his face. His energy is incredible & he is KIND. Since we live in different time zones, sometimes communication can be tough, so George is up at all hours, ready to help us in any way we need. George is a dependable, hardworking, visionary who takes my ideas and makes them a reality. For my birthday George had an artist draw paper doll versions of me and Michael- George even captured our chihuahuas ( always detailed-oriented! ). It was by far one of the most thoughtful gifts I have ever recived. He is a friend, father, husband, and hustler.


Every dollar donated will go to George and his family so that he will be able to pay for his surgery and get back to riding his bike. Any amount that you are able donate would be a tremendous help to George, and would have such an impact on George's way of life. Michael & JetBed, Inc. donated $2,000, and I have donated $1,000 and my company, blog-doo ( that I co-own with Erica of Fashionlush ) has donated $1,000.

Overall anything helps, even a dollar.
