Heaven has a new Angel

On November 21st our beloved Alexxander Douglas Alvarado succumbed to the condition that he fought from birth . Born with a rare disorder causing his brain to not fully develop, Alexxander was brave and fought from the time of his birth . He made his presence into this world 6 weeks early; Shannon ,Johhan and his 2 year old little brother eagerly awaited the day when he would come home. They were pleasantly surprised when they were able to bring him home after only 2 weeks. They quickly realized something wasn’t right, baby Alexx never enjoyed a feeding because he was not capable of swallowing. On a feeding tube and daily seizures that would cause him to stop breathing the doctors finally discovered that his brain activity was not sufficient to control his body. At 4 months doctors put him on hospice and said he would not make it through the night. He once again proved them wrong. Shannon and Johhan were determined to take him home to love and care for him for as long as they could. Alexx required 24 hour care, they refused to bring in a nurse instead Johhan worked nights and Shannon worked days so that one of them was always with him. Juggling a toddler along with what appeared like weekly hospitalizations they watched as their son’s condition worsened. Due to the brain disorder Alexxander developed many other symptomatic conditions. One being cerebral palsy, the curvature of his spine and hardening of his bones meant Alexx was in 24 hour pain.
We celebrated his 1st and last birthday October 25th,  Mickey Mouse was the theme. Wearing a Mickey Mouse costume, perfect eyebrows and the longest eyelashes; leaving everyone who saw him envious of the length and curl.
His awesome hair, Bruno Mars style! Oh and his handsome dark brown eyes . Our little warrior fought for a year. 3 days ago he went into septic shock causing his brain to swell and his organs to shut down. Johhan and Shannon decided they no longer wanted to see him suffer. A heart breaking choice was made to take him off life support. In the arms of his parents surrounded by his lifetime of love he took his final breath. His parents are distraught, we would like to help them take care of all funeral expenses. For this reason we are requesting your help. Please open your heart and donate.
