My Dad's Funeral

Donation protected
My Dad was the most selfless, caring, kindest, sweetest loving man with the biggest heart and his life has been suddenly taken away from us.... and now I need your help.

Unbeknown to us he was suffering in silence with his heart and not wanting to disclose his condition to his family members. Our happiness meant more to him than his own wellbeing.

Everyone says nice things about people when they pass away but all the things people are saying now about him, were also said when he was alive.

To me that is a testament to what an amazing human being he was and he truly was a rare, one of a kind human being. He didn't need to pass away for people to realise, know or say how special and loved he was. If you had ever met him you were the lucky one. I could type every single warm and heartfelt word under the sun yet it still wouldn't give you an insight into how warm & wonderful my Dad was.

If I could have one wish right now other than wanting my Dad back with me, then I would wish for you (the reader), to feel in your heart what he made people feel in their hearts. The love my dad offered to everyone would make you feel a part of something & as if he was your dad too.

Every step taken in my life was made more special by his love.
I was his angel and now he's mine.

My dad was such a hard working man that he continued to work long past his retirement age and wasn't able to retire because he simply couldn't afford to. Even after this, he was still providing for the needs of his family but unfortunately he was let go by his employer as the company wasn't able to sustain the business. He still tried to find work but nobody was willing to employ a " 70 year old " man, and whilst I was happy because I could spend more quality time with him, it was a strain financially on the family.

The one thing that gave hope and got him through this was his love for the grandkids. They were his life but recently more so because he would pick them up from school, baby sit and spend every last second making them happy.

We are now organising a funeral but are struggling financially to cover the full costs. I'm asking for your help in donating and no matter how small, it would be greatly appreciated. We have until the 24th April.

I Love You Dad. Always And Forever xxxxxxx
