It Takes a Village

Donation protected
Our good friend, Caitlin Perry often states that it takes a village to raise a child.  She is a single mother with four children, ages 10, 12, 14, 16.  She said this, because she knows that she is surrounded by a supportive group of friends that are always willing to offer a helping hand.

This was prior to her family's apartment building being destroyed by a fire on the morning of Sunday, July 29th.  It was caused by a cigarette butt that was not disposed of properly. It was as predictable as it was preventable.

Although her family, and many other families, had nothing to do with the cause of fire, they have been left with nothing.

Fortunately, Caitlin and her family do have insurance, but there will be many unexpected costs involved with starting over.

Caitlin, is a teacher in Beaumont Alberta, she is shaping the future of our community for the better.  With a new school year approaching, we can help Caitlin and her four children, navigate their way through the many obstacles that stand in their way.

We are asking for donations, no matter the amount, to help Caitlin and her family get back on their feet. Please join us in returning the love and positivity that this amazing family brings to our community.

in true Caitlin fashion she has shared with us that any funds raised beyond what she directly need for her family will be donated to other families affected by this devestating fire.
