Hello, my name is Kelly, and I am the mother of two young boys. After living in an unsafe situation I made the brave decision to leave their father to create a safe environment for my children and myself.

After enduring years of fear and uncertainty, I took the necessary legal steps to protect us, which included obtaining a restraining order against my abuser. Unfortunately, he is now contesting the restraining order, and I’m forced to continue this legal battle in order to keep my children and myself safe.

This is a challenging and overwhelming time, not only emotionally but also financially. I have found a lawyer who is willing to represent us, but I am struggling to cover the legal fees. I never imagined I would be in a position to ask for help, but here I am, trusting in God’s provision and the kindness of others to make sure we can continue this fight for safety and peace.

As I face this battle, I hold onto these promises:

"When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." — Psalm 34:17-18

“And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19
