Help a homeless veteran after having a stroke

Donation protected
My father has had a hard life growing up and saying that even our relationship is perfect is false but he is a good man. He has motivated and inspired many people with many of his life lessons. Including me, and he is a big part of the man I have grown up to be today. I would not be where I am with my own little family or life in general with the things he has shown me. Just the vast amount of knowledge within him about life is amazing. Keith would love to share that with the world, his friends, and his family to include the grand daughter he has yet to meet if his time should come soon.
I am raising money for my father Keith Windham a veteran who just had a stroke and is currently homeless. He doesn't have much. Everything he has now fits on one dolly now and since he was hospitalized his things were stolen - including what things he had of his parents (my grandparents).

With everything that happened with COVID and the pandemic, I myself want to help more. Sadly, he is in Tennessee and my wife and daughter (who is not yet in school) are in Washington state.

I really just want for him to have food, the ability to eat and at least have a bed. Instead of being out in the elements. He can not even get around on his own anymore, he cannot drive because of his vision. So I am looking for help to set him up in a home where he is already at for less stress on him and for him to be closer to neurosurgeons be has already been working with.

He was an active military veteran in at Ft. Campbell, KY and has served as well as seen many things for our country.  He unfortunately had a hemorrhagic brain stroke and emergency neurosurgery in April 2020.
This fundraiser is about getting knowledge out and helping someone in need all at once. My father wishes to pass on what he knows and to assist as many people as possible with living a better life, spiritually, emotionally and mentally.

So this fundraiser is two parts. One of course is assisting with getting started so he can speak in front of groups, make videos and write a book in order to let his words be passed to others.

Also, the second half. He has been through a stroke and finds it hard to maintain. Not so as he is filing for SSA as well as veteran benefits. But with covid and such the process is taking longer. That way he may start working on his life's work, without having to also worry where he is going to stay tonight or if he will be able to even get a ride anywhere.

I am his son and will be running this page. I am open and welcoming to any and all questions and/or suggestions that you may have. I will be looking at this page everyday to answer any concerns that you may have which will be after 1500 PDT after I have gotten off of work.

Thank you all for every little bit does make a huge difference. Even reading and spreading the word is greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful day.

Sincerely,
Joshua Windham
