My name is Sam Daw, owner of Lavina Wines based in McLaren Vale and the Sunshine Coast. Having years of experience shipping bulk wine to countries overseas, I am using the same logistic format to deliver spring water to severe drought affected homesteads in country Australia. The owners of these properties are in desperate and dire need of quality water!
A flexi-tank bladder is fitted within a 20 foot shipping container and filled with 24,000 litres of pure spring water. The container is then freighted and unloaded at the destination homestead for immediate use.
We are essentially creating a sustainable, contamination free, reusable, portable 24,000 litre spring water tank that can be refilled numerous times.
My company along with a few mates are funding the first delivery of 24,000 litres scheduled for Thursday 18th December 2019, however we call on support from the business community and general public to chip in funds in order to deliver many many more containers.
The initiative is NON PROFIT! The ultimate aim is Government support!
