Move Alex Home

My name is Alexandra, and I need help moving home! I moved to Arizona with a friend months ago during the pandemic when I lost my job due to being furloughed. My friend had a room for me, and I got a job at her work right away, so things were looking up. I had hope for a fresh start.

Unfortunately, things fell through with my friend and the job was a temp position that let me go. I’ve tried to find work but with the high unemployment rate due to the pandemic, and being new to the area it’s been incredibly difficult. Because of my move, unemployment benefits are on hold, so that means no income! I’ve also lost my therapist due to inter-state laws, and it’s a really hard time to be without community right now.

I’ve decided it’s time to move back with my friends and family, however moving costs are high and being unemployed is super stressful! Anything that you can do to help will go towards paying for a Uhaul, securing a new apartment and traveling back to Wisconsin from Arizona.
